2B Or Not 2B Collective welcomes you to another edition of our Quarantine Art Club online life drawing sessions, this time centred around the theme of Diversity, Inclusivity and Body Positivity.

As some of you may already know we are a BIPOC run collective whose main objective is to elevate bodies that are underrepresented within life drawing and the arts. We will announce the model closer to the time.

The session is 2 hours long, where we’ll spend the first 5 minutes settling in with a meet and greet, before segueing into the first set of poses. The first half of the session will include shorter poses (1-10 minutes), and the second half will either be three 15 minute poses, or a 20 and a 25 minute pose. You’re welcome to use any mediums or materials (traditional or digital) to work with, and this is a relaxed untutored session where you can draw on your own terms. There’ll also be a 10-15 minute break halfway where you can put the kettle on, grab a cup of tea and have a look at each other’s work. The second half of the session, we’ll be able to focus on more static poses where you can really knuckle down on details and textures.

Overall this is a very relaxed and informal session that we hold, there’ll be music playing in the background and we’re all about creating good vibes so that you can kick back and let your hair down. We very much look forward to seeing you all there.

Please tag us in your work on Instagram @opencollegearts – it was great to see you many students share their work after the last session.
