Hours: Full time (1.0 FTE)
Contract type: Permanent

Open College of the Arts offers one of the broadest ranges of course options in the UK for studying the creative and visual arts by part-time distance learning. Our open access policy fosters an extremely diverse student body, many of whom have come to higher education by non-traditional routes.

On 1 November 2016 the Open College of the Arts became part of the University for the Creative Arts. This merger built on a close validating relationship established in 2010. The Open College of the Arts is seeking to recruit a Marketing and Communications Officer with the expertise and experience to develop and implement OCA’s marketing strategy, this includes management of marketing activity across various channels. The role requires proactive investigation, analysis of market research, and the ability to quickly take advantage of marketing opportunities, in particular the part-time, online and distance learning approach and open access values at OCA.

Excellent communications and digital skills are important, as is the ability to think strategically, manage workloads, work collegiately, accurately and within the expectations of marketing and other deadlines.
