Qualifications open doors, presenting you with pathways towards a chosen goal. Once you’ve decided that the arts is the place for you, where can it take you and what could you do with it?
OCA offers a range of qualifications in creative arts subjects, allowing you to choose the level you’d like to study at.
Foundation courses are the perfect option if you are new to a creative discipline or are looking to get back into study after an absence. These courses develop your knowledge and skills, both practical and academic, providing a steppingstone to degree study.
Degree-level study is the beginning of an in-depth look at a specific discipline. You’ll learn to research, experiment, and think around the subject, questioning your own thoughts and those of others. Most importantly, you’ll develop your own style and method of working, so that you can create something that is unique to you.
Many careers now require an applicant to have a degree, so having a degree opens many more doors.
A Masters degree is highly specialised and focuses down on a particular part of wider subject area. This enables you to become an expert in a given field.
Foundation courses are designed for students who want to develop their understanding before starting a degree.Browse courses

“On top of the flexible self-paced schedule and peer group support, the most valuable aspect for me was the relationship I built with my tutors. I was guided through personal growth and exploration.”
