Student work: Hannah Roche
OCA Textiles student Hannah Roche shares her work using video in this time of COVID19.
In this blog post I have the pleasure of sharing 3 videos made by BA Textiles student Hannah Roche. Hannah is currently studying the first unit in her degree, Textiles 1: A Textiles Vocabulary. These videos are part of the assignment two submission to her tutor for formative feedback. She uses the suggested format outlined in my blog post “Discussing and sharing the qualities of your work”, by working through materials and techniques, visual qualities, physical qualities, scale and feelings. I think she has done an excellent job of explaining her work to the viewer and clearly also has a good understanding of her creative practice at this early stage in her studies.
I think any student who is submitting physical work for assessment or for tutor feedback will find this post useful.
I am really grateful to Hannah for letting me show her work.

Thanks again Hannah for sharing your work with us 🙏
No problem 😊
These videos, together with Rebecca’s blog post, gave me a clear idea how to communicate my own work to others. They also show some clues about critical thinking and writing learning log. Thank you for sharing!
