Student stories: Photography
Once again I’m delighted to share that some of our OCA photography degree students have just been selected as finalists in 2021 AOP Student Awards. Huge congratulations to our Judith Bach, Andrew Fitzgibbon and Andy Be.
Judith Bach and Andrew Fitzgibbon were among the 20 finalists in the places category, Andy Be has won SILVER in the people category.ย
It’s a real boost when our students enter and win awards, this is the second year running we have scooped prizes at AOP. Well done to all these students and to tutors and staff who supported these projects in development.

Fitz – this is brilliant. Projects that are there as a mix between image and oral history-and commentary. I will think of it every time I pass by. Many thanks.
Thanks Gary, that means a lot, especially coming from a cantankerous notherner ๐
Andy Be well done!!!!!
Thank you, M ๐ I’m still here… in the shadows ๐
Huge congratulations to Andy, Judy, Fitz and Kinga – fab work.
Thank you Helen ๐
Many thanks, Helen!
Congratulations to all of you! It’s always so inspiring to see these kinds of success stories!
Thank you Helen and Elizabeth. Oh, and I also owe additional thanks to you, Elizabeth, since your work with origami really helped me through a terribly frustrating project created during BoW. Folding modular balls drove me borderline insane but, after finding your work, I got there in the end ๐
Well done *indeed* to all of you! This is well-deserved recognition of your hard work and dedication. I hope you’re feeling as proud of yourselves as we are of you (and of all our other stellar Level 3 students).
Very kind of you, Jayne. Thanks a lot.
It is really inspiring to see that the quality of OCA L3 students’ work stand up so strongly in the wider photo / media world!
It’s very encouraging. Thank you, Allan.
