Two OCA MA Fine Art students talk about the reasons they opted for the MA, the practical considerations of studying art from home, and a bit about their art work too! Thanks to Joanne Keeley and Jennifer Mawby (Jennifer came all the way from Vancouver to take part in this year’s MA workshop).

  • I enjoyed both the stories. The work was interesting too. Does Joanne know Paula Rego’s women as dogs series? They are very different, of course, but say something about animal instinct.
    It is so important to have contact with other artists whilst studying- and beyond. Social media has really opened this up and having an on-line community of artists to place yourself within is vital for keeping your practice alive.
