I started studying with the OCA in 2007, I chose the OCA because I wanted to have the opportunity to develop creatively through studio-based courses and look at 20th century arts and the current art scene. You can learn from other artists through primary research, but use informed intuition of this knowledge as a conduit for your own practice. I am after beauty, a purity in painting. Have I achieved my own take on bio-morphic abstraction? I have followed my own path to achieve a personal aesthetic and facture.
I have just gained a 1st for my BA (Hons) Painting.
