Criminal Convictions Policy
OCA welcomes all students to study the creative arts; our mission is to provide distance learning creative arts education to all who want to study. For example a criminal conviction is not normally a barrier to study, and we aim to support students in secure environments.
Prospective students are required to declare a relevant unspent criminal conviction at the point of enrolment, or if you receive a conviction whilst studying, as soon as possible. OCA will then conduct a risk assessment and review what steps need to be taken to support your study, and the safeguarding and wellbeing of the OCA community.
