Active Study
Active Study is all about engagement. Submitting your assignments, accessing your course, attending group sessions or tutorials. All the things that you’ll be doing normally as part of your studies.
Research shows that ongoing active engagement with studies means you’re more likely to complete and do well. So our policy covers how we monitor engagement, and when we’ll get in touch with you if engagement drops off. Because if there is something happening that’s limiting your study, we want to help.
If you’re funded by Student Finance, or other third party providers, there are requirements as part of that funding. So we cover as well, what you need to do for them, and what we report.
Active Study Policy-
This is the list of changes made from the previous iteration of the Active Study Policy:
- Transfer of policy to new policy template.
- Amendments to wording for clarity and ease of reading.
- Refunds section now called Fee Liability.
- Removal of Postgraduate section (combined into Active Engagement section).
- Change of 90 day monitoring period to 60 days.
