It gives me great pleasure to announce the launch of Confer – Karnac Art Space, located at Confer – Karnac (Karnac books) in Strype Street, London E1.

The inaugural exhibition titled Public Intimacy offers a newly designed space by Chris Dyson Architects dedicated to a bookshop and talks programme on psychoanalytic, relational and emotional processes.

Public Intimacy, curated by myself, Hayley Lock, invites eleven contemporary artists to show work that combines that relational spirit with contemporary philosophical debate – the meeting of materiality with ideas.
