What I enjoyed most about Creative Arts 1.2 was the freedom to develop my own way of working. Rather than following one fixed path, the unit provided a framework that allowed me to focus on the themes, techniques, and materials that were most relevant to my own practice. Recently, I went to see the film version of Björk’s live show Cornucopia. Showing in cinemas worldwide for a limited time in May. Between 2019 and 2023, Björk toured this immersive audio-visual concert experience around the world, and it has been translated into a filmic experience, shown at cinemas so that a wider audience can see this interdisciplinary work.

Looking at American Dancer/Performer/Sculptor Artist Nick Cave it is really inspiring. He is best known for his “Soundsuits”, which are exciting wearable Textile pieces, almost sculptures that look whimsical, bright and other-wordly looking. He regularly performs in the sculptures himself, dancing either before the public or for the camera.
