Recently I went to the Fashion and Textiles Museum in Bermondsey in London. The museum is currently showing some exciting textiles and watercolour Drawings of Austrian Architect and Designer Josef Frank, the exhibition is on until the 7 of May.

On Sunday 13 November OCA tutor and programme leader Rebecca Fairley will host a study visit to two venues in Manchester. In the morning the group will visit The Whitworth then move onto Manchester Art Gallery for the afternoon. The day will be full of gorgeous textiles from stylish mid century fabrics to cutting edge fashion.

On Saturday 2 July OCA tutor Sandra Flower will once again be hosting a study visit to the New Designers Exhibition at the Business Design Centre in London. New Designers is an annual event that showcases the work of the UK’s emerging designers. It is a huge design fair exhibiting the work of over 1500 students.
