We’re living through increasingly strange times, and artists have an important role to play in articulating what is happening in the world. In this workshop we’ll consider how we can use our art to think and write about the future.
Writing exercises will take us through changes that we might experience, how we will survive those changes, and the world as it may be in years to come. We’ll think about the things we’ll leave behind us as a civilisation, and the messages we might want to send to the next generation. Inspiration will be taken from visual art, poetry and prose.
Suitable for students of all levels of experience, whether creative writing is your main discipline or whether you’re just curious!
Join OCA tutor Suzannah Evans on Zoom on 5 May 6 – 8pm. To request your place complete the booking form here.
