Virtual Study Event: Black Textile Creatives with Faye Hall

The representation of black creatives in the art and design world is still, sadly, very much underrepresented, and amazing talent is not as readily recognised or acknowledged- even in 2021.

Join OCA tutor Faye Hall for a two-hour study event where we get together to explore the work of exciting textile and other visual artists within the black creative community.

She will also be discussing the implications of the under representation and how we, as active practitioners can help change the direction of making the work of BIPOC makers just as valid and visible as the work of other ethnic groups.

The event will be informal, interactive and a good chance for you all to also meet with other OCA peers and hopefully gain some interesting contextual research and views!

25th February
