Study event: OCA North

The next OCA North meeting is scheduled for Sunday 8 March and will be led by creative writing tutor Suzannah Evans.

After a short presentation and reading from her book Near Future, Suzannah will lead group members in some creative writing workshop exercises focusing on change, particularly climate change, and looking ahead and speculating on futures both utopian and dystopian, and thinking about how we might survive them, poetically or otherwise.

No former writing experience is necessary!

OCA North is a cross disciplinary group and students from all disciplines are invited to attend.

There will be time for chat, questions and sharing. Please bring your work to show, discuss, or critique.

Venue and timings

Fletcher’s Mill, Dean Clough, Halifax.

The event takes place from 1-5pm and we will have access to the room and kitchen facilities from 12 noon.

Register your interest in attending by completing the booking form here.
