OCA-North next meeting is on Sunday 12 January 2020

At Fletcher’s Mill, Dean Clough, Halifax HX3 5AX

From 1-5pm access to the room and kitchen facilities from 12noon ( I will be there).

I am very excited to tell you we have a painter, Miranda Richmond, coming to speak at our meeting in Halifax on Sunday 12 January 2020. Miranda who works in the tradition of David Bomberg was married to Miles Richmond an artist in the Borough Group. She has exhibited widely across the north of England and in London and currently has an exhibition in Dean Clough which is on show until 24 January.

Miranda works extensively outdoors in the landscape but also from the figure, making countless drawings and studies in a variety of mixed media. At the start of 2019 Miranda completed an artist residency on Iona. Alongside her painting practice she has run classes and workshops with many client groups and is currently in the process of setting up a supportive art studio in Middlesborough where she is based.

This meeting is not just for painters. Students from all disciplines are welcome and will benefit from attending.

There will be time for chat, questions and sharing. Please bring your work to show, discuss, or critique.
