Study event: OCA North

Join the next meeting of the OCA-North Study Group on Sunday 8 September  1-5pm. Yes it is Sunday!

We will be meeting on the ground floor, Fletcher’s Mill, Dean Clough Mills, Halifax, West Yorkshire HX3 5AX. Some students will be meeting for lunch from 12 mid- day in the Loom Lounge cafe, a short walk away, next to the Crossley Gallery (not the one round the back), so please join us, everyone is welcome.

This is an opportunity to meet with other OCA students, share experiences and discuss our work.  You are invited to bring some work along for discussion, this could be completed, work in progress or just an idea you want to sound out.

We would also like to give some time to thinking about future meetings, what you want to get out of them and how we can help each other make it happen.

Parking is free directly outside the venue.

There are exhibitions to see if you want to spend the morning there too or interesting sites such as The Piece Hall in Halifax town centre. If you enjoyed “Gentleman Jack” on TV Shibden Hall is nearby.

Each student attending will be asked for a £2 donation which will be given to the arts charity at Dean Clough to cover costs.

We will confirm shortly if an OCA tutor will be facilitating the day.
