Pictet Reflections
Two weeks ago a large group of us had a study visit to the Saatchi Gallery to see the shortlisted work for the Prix Pictet. I asked one of the attendees, Vicki Loader, if she would mind writing a few words for WeAreOCA and she agreed. In the event Vicki’s musings are rather long for the blog, but they are worth reading in full, so we have attached them as a PDF here.
In addition to her reflections on the work, Vicki mentions the atmosphere on the visit and how friendly it is. We know that many students are nervous about coming to study visits, but no one being tested or assessed and it is a great way to meet fellow students.

There’s an interesting interview with Bourouissa on http://www.seenby.com/interview/mohamed-bourouissa; and I also found this link http://riotsfrance.ssrc.org/Cesari/ which gives more background into the riots.
