'For Arbus: Unconditional but Critical'

I am delighted to confirm a study visit on Sat 21 March to Kirkcaldy Art Gallery, Fife to view the Artists Room presentation of the work of US photographer Diane Arbus.
This visit has been organised to coincide with the Stills Arbus lectures which begin at 11am on the morning of the 21st.
11am-11.45am Lecture one (45 mins)
Caroline Douglas will be presenting ‘For Arbus: Unconditional but Critical’

Join lecturers Caroline Douglas and David Grinly as they present their views on the work of Diane Arbus from two opposing points of view. The work of Diane Arbus has often sparked debate.This morning and afternoon of lectures will present two different approaches for looking at and criticising the work, encouraging the audience to join in the conversation and share their opinions.
15 minute Comfort Break
12pm-12.45pm Lecture Two (45 mins)
David Grinly will be presenting “Let me assure you, you have always disgusted me.”

12.45pm – 1.15pm Discussion
