Welcome to the monthly newsletter from Student Services! This newsletter will highlight important information, such as upcoming deadlines and events, to help you plan your studies.

Upcoming Deadlines

For Undergraduate, Foundation, and Personal Development students.

To enrol in the March 2025 intake, submit your enrolment form and secure funding by 12PM (GMT) Wednesday 12 February 2025. For eligibility details, review the Enrolment and Progression section in the Student Handbook or contact [email protected].

Student zine: edge zine Issue 14 – Encounters

April 2025 will see the launch of issue 14 of edge zine. Founded in 2016, edge zine began with the idea of bringing the creations of students who live apart, together.

Released quarterly, OCA students, alumni and staff are encouraged to submit work to be published in our digital zine. The theme for Issue 14 is ‘Encounters’. We welcome ideas, sketches, works-in progress, writing, images and music. Submissions are now open, and close 28 February 2025.

We are also looking for student volunteers to participate in the selection process for the Edge zine Encounters Issue.

Notices

The February 2025 intake

All students confirmed for this intake have already received email confirmation of their place, and will receive a welcome email and access to the Induction on 3rd February 2025. This email may be sent out in batches throughout the day to avoid technical difficulties. At the end of the two week Induction period, students gain access to their unit materials after confirming their enrolment through the Induction process.

If you applied but couldn’t secure funding or meet eligibility criteria in time, your enrolment has been deferred to the March 2025 intake, unless you’ve been notified otherwise.
