OCASA Music Representative – Result

Following the announcement of vacancy on the OCA Student Association Committee for a Music Student Representative, we have received one nomination and so Elaine Goodall will be appointed to the position unopposed. Elaine’s election statement is available here.
OCASA President, Stan Dickinson, will organise the handover from previous representative, Chris Lawry, in the next couple of weeks. We are grateful to Elaine for coming forward to take up the role.

  • Congratulations Elaine, I feel sure that you will do a magnificent job for all of us music students with the OCA. I can see from your biography that you lead a very busy life, and so creating time for this role too is really very generous of you.

  • Congratulations too Elaine, I know you’ll make a great representative for the music students and be an asset to OCASA. To Stan, Jim and the other OCASA reps – many thanks, you’re more than welcome, it’s been an interesting experience! 🙂

  • A big thank you to Chris for taking on this responsibility thus far. Thanks also to Elaine for stepping forward to represent us!

  • Congratulations Elaine. Best wishes for a successful term of office! You sound very musical in the round, and like you, I am coming to the end of Composing 1. Did we meet at the flute day last year?

  • Thanks very much Petra and Fionagh, I was at the music workshop last year but don’t think we had the chance to speak one to one. Hopefully we’ll be able to do that with another similar event in the future!
