Election for OCASA Music Representative

As students will have seen in Stan’s announcement, there is a vacancy on the OCASA Committee for a music representative, to replace Chris Lawry. This is the formal announcement of an election for that role.
Nominations
All students currently studying music courses with OCA are eligible to stand and to vote. Students who wish to stand for election may nominate themselves, or be nominated by another music student (with the nominee’s permission, of course). Please email a 250 word election statement (setting out why other students should choose you) and a 250 personal biography (setting out information that you think other students should know about you) to the returning officer, Dee Whitmore (deewhitmore@oca-uk.com ) by 09:00 BST on Friday 11th May.
Elections
If there is more than one nomination, an election will be held. Details of the candidates will be published on WeAreOCA on 16th May together with details of how to vote. Music students will then have until 12:00 BST on 8th June to register their vote.
If there is only a single nomination for a committee post, that student is elected unopposed to the committee and their statements published on WeAreOCA as a matter of record.
Results
Election results will be published on WeAreOCA no later than 15th June.
