Artist David George has agreed to give a talk to OCA students on 22 April at the next Thames Valley Group meeting. David has been a photographer for over 35 years and his work examines geo-political aspects of contemporary landscape. David is a visiting lecturer at Colleges and Universities across the UK whilst also providing Master classes in landscape, low level light and alternate processes.
David’s work has been exhibited across the UK and internationally whilst his work is held in public and private collections. This is an exciting opportunity to meet a practising artist, David will be presenting his practice as well as sharing his experience of creating group shows for fellow artists.
In 2009 he co-founded the contemporary photography project Uncertain States which regularly publishes new contemporary work and an annual group show in London.
Space will be limited for this event to be held in Borden. Although this event is being organised by the OCA Students’ Association, bookings are being handled by the OCA office. Places are free to OCA students, though there will be a proportionate fee to cover refreshments etc.
