What medium has been used in these please? How do you get that Arthur Rackham like texture?
Hello Rachel, I’ve used mixed media comprising of acrylic ink, pva glue, crushed olive leaves, acrylic paint and oil paint
Thank you! I love the effects you’ve acheived with this seemingly alchemical mix!
I am very pleased that Jim, as a senior assessor, has noted the considerable shift in your practice Sheila. He is identifying the very real progress you made in your final year, something which is clearly apparent in the work. This should give you every confidence to pursue your onward professional career.
It is true that I need the encouragement from other respected artists and tutors as I am full of self doubt most of the time, so I was thrilled that Jim decided to talk on my work. I want to thank you again Emma for all the help you gave me to move forward and find what is important for me. X
Thank you for you comments Rachel.
