New Course Leaders

C&D
After many years good service as a tutor and latterly as Course Leader for Fine Art, we are sorry to see Linda Khatir depart for pastures new in Scandanavia. However this has given us an opportunity to rethink our approach and as a result we have appointed two new Course Leaders.
Caroline Wright, award winning lead tutor on the MA Fine Art, will become responsible for Fine Art at undergraduate and post-graduate levels, including the BA(Hons) Painting, while Doug Burton will take the lead on the BA(Hons) Creative Arts.
Caroline has BA and MA qualifications gained at Norwich University of the Arts and a Postgraduate Certificate in HE (Art and Design) from the University of the Arts, London. Her performance piece ‘Out of Water’ at the Edinburgh Festival was recently reviewed on the homepage of Guardian online. Doug has a BA Sculpture Winchester School of Art and MA Fine Art from the Royal Academy of Arts Schools.
By creating two roles we are signalling our commitment to developing at least two distinctive study pathways. As we would with them as Course Leaders, ideas for new degree pathways may be considered by the Board of Trustees.
