Study event: OCA North

| Posted on

Join the next meeting of OCA North at the Whitworth Gallery in Manchester on the 15 June 2019.
OCA tutor Rachel Forster will facilitate the meeting and start with an overview of her own practice and areas of her creative interest, including the impact art objects can make on the spaces they are in and the people that interact with them, and, exploring some of the changing perspectives on what it means to be ‘creative’. Rachel will also facilitate and offer a tutor viewpoint on the group critique session.
OCA North is very much a cross-discipline group and previous meetings have been attended by students from courses including (but not limited to) photography, drawing, painting and textiles.
It’s a chance to talk and listen to other students, compare experiences, ask questions, inspire each other and generally feel a little less alone as a distance learning student.
After the session we can check out the various exhibitions on at the Whitworth, individually or in smaller groups, although this is entirely optional.
