Staying Connected- A Summer project by MA Fine Art Cohort 2016
As a group we decided it would be a good idea to do something over the summer to stay in touch with each other. We wanted to participate in a project together that befitted how we communicate as a distance learning group of individuals, all living in different parts of the world, digitally connected.
The project worked like a game of Chinese whispers. The idea was that one person would make a piece of work, which they would then take a picture of and email on to the next person. This person would make a piece of work in response to the first persons work, and send their response on to the next person on the list, and so on. Each person only saw the work of the person directly before them. The first time we got to see the works grouped together, in the sequence they were made, was when the project was finished. Here is a link to a slideshow containing the works made by the 10 members of our cohort who took part in the project.

Hi MA Fine Art cohort 16, It’s great to see your connections project, I really like the way you riff off each other. I’m enjoying the slices of images at the top of Rachel’s post and imagining a selection of wall paper samples and walls covered in them. Good luck this year. Angela
Thankyou Angela! Hope you are well, we miss you!
