OCA North event – Halifax

The next OCA North will be held on Saturday 17 November 2018 in Halifax, West Yorkshire. OCA tutor and Programme Leader Rebecca Fairley will be facilitating the day.

The group plans to meet from midday and you are invited to bring work in progress to discuss. Rebecca will also speak about her creative practice.

Venue: Ground Floor Room, Fletcher’s Mill, Dean Clough Mills, Halifax HX3 5AX West Yorkshire. Reception desk for local information 01422 250250. Free parking outside venue

Itinerary: Meet at 12pm for lunch and a drink in Loom Lounge Café (Optional) before going to the ground floor of Fletcher’s Mill from 1 -5pm. There will be various exhibitions on in the galleries at Dean Clough if people wish to visit beforehand in the morning.

Please complete the study event request form if you would like to attend. Study events are open to all students. Do let us know if you are bringing work to discuss.

I’m in Scotland, dividing time between Edinburgh in the South and Ullapool in the North West. I’d love to go to some of these events, but they’re not north enough for me and others in Scotland.

I would love to have been able to attend but I have a prior engagement for that day . I really enjoyed meeting everyone at the last event . Typical as being a textile student , having Rebecca present would have been fab.
