Edge-zine issue 9: Inside
From Vicky Mackenzie’s ‘Tutors thoughts’ through Steve Cusson’s work ‘Prison Cinema’ and onto Therese Livonne and her self portrait the 9th edition of Edge-zine is packed with thought provoking work and articles from across the Open College of the Arts range of disciplines.
With a theme of Inside this issue took on a new focus with the situation we all find ourselves in with Covid19 and the lockdown. Hopefully we will all be able to reconnect very soon.
I read online recently that many Art supply shops have sold out of product so we can expect an explosion of creativity. You can always find a space with edge-zine to show the work you have created during this sad, moving and isolated time. It doesn’t have to be course work, we want to see what our creative community have been creating whilst locked down.
Issue 9 is available to view and download from both https://www.edge-zine.com/issues and our Facebook page here https://www.facebook.com/search/top/?q=edge-zine&epa=SEARCH_BOX. You can also see back issues of the zine here too.
We are now starting work on the tenth issue of the magazine. The theme is ‘Connection’ and we need you to enter your submissions. You can add your submission for Edge-zine 10 Connection on the form here https://forms.gle/1vwCbhaKx6C7zjhKA submission deadline is June 30 2020 Midnight UK Time.
The team at Edge-zine hope you enjoy issue 9 and look forward to your entry for issue 1o Connection. The is your zine is a space for you to showcase your work or share the way you have worked to produce your art. It is always interesting to learn how other thoughts and processes become Art so please include your workflow to help others.
Thank You from your
Edge-zine team.
