In 2014 OCA students contributed to a collaborative film project by artist Gillian Wearing called Your Views.
You can watch the result below. With the world in lock down it seems fitting to share the views from our window once again. Quarantine Stories is a collaborative platform that collects stories of isolation as a result of home-quarantining in efforts to reduce the effects of Covid19. You can share your stories here https://quarantinestories.today/ or tag #WeAreOCA across social media sites with your views. Stay inside. Stay inspired.

Goodness – that’s a blast from the past! I remember it well.
‘All the world’s a stage…’ by William Shakespeare (from ‘As you like it’ spoken by Jacques)
That was the first thought that came into my head after the initial reactive- where’s the sound. As the film continued I started to get into it. It reminded me of getting ready or being on stage then…curtain up.
I was charmed by all the different scenes, especially the unexpected such as the cat, the hills and the upstairs view of the roof into the garden.
I could see this type of film footage being extended and made with contributions from all over the globe especially during this time of the 2020 Covid19 pandemic.
Well done Gillian Wearing
