Post-study success, however that looks for individual students, is a key ambition of OCA. We hope that our courses will provide you with valuable skills, but in addition to this we are developing initiatives to provide opportunities to network with peers, develop collaborative projects, and set up businesses. We are working together to deliver SANE’s new Creative Awards Scheme, a new initiative to enable people suffering from mental health or caring for people with mental health issues to access the visual arts and harness their creativity.

As an eighteen year old I took a degree in Environmental Sciences in no small part because I thought it would open up more doors for a potential future career than other options. On the flip side I’m losing count now of the number of people I know who started out in a particular field but are now doing a degree in order to move into a different sector.
