Mobile phones were the size of bricks when I started for fun with a photography course and later a painting course in 2006-2007. Photography skills came in use at a family wedding and for photographs of residential properties when working for a Housing Association.

I was also able to use the confidence and skills gained from the painting course to curate and put on an exhibition of art done by adults with learning disabilities as part of my work with a local authority

My latest and first assessed course watercolour practice completed as part of my degree profile has enabled me to develop further my artistic skills through Skype tutorials with my tutor and interacting with lecturers and students when attending art exhibitions in London.
