I started my degree with the OCA in 2009. The OCA combines both the flexibility of studying at home with the opportunity to connect with other students online. I find the tutor led study days and exhibition visits are also beneficial in helping to round out my studies.

I’ve used the assignments as a springboard to explore my interests in gender and identity using constructed imagery and narrative. The tutors have been supportive in their feedback and I’ve been encouraged to explore creative paths and research that I would never have considered without studying for the OCA degree.
