I began studying with OCA in 2011 and chose the photography degree. This degree is concerned with the use of photography as a medium for creative expression and I’m finding it both stimulating and challenging. The academic standard is high so both my intellectual and creative skills are constantly tested. Distance learning might seem an isolating route to take but there is a lot of encouragement to attend organised study visits, meet other students and network through the student website and social media. I’m also a member of a regional group that has regular meetings.
