Pere Bruach

I started my academic and professional training in Barcelona studying a BA in Graphic design at Elisava Escola Superior en Disseny. I also worked as a graphic designer for the Red Cross, developing digital and print design projects in Communication and advertising.

After that I transferred to Central Saint Martins College in London to complete a BA degree in Textile design. During my studies I worked for fashion houses including Alexander Mcqueen and Mary Katrantzou.

Soon after I went on to graduate in MA Textiles from the Royal College of Art specialising in Printed Textiles, whilst working for different Fashion brands, Design studios, Retail Companies and Fashion and textiles manufacturers worldwide developing Graphics, Print, Embroidery, Knit and Jacquard designs, for both Fashion Luxury and High Street markets.

I currently work as a Textiles Designer and Artworker for Alexander Mcqueen working on Print, Embroidery Knit and Fabric on both Womenswear and Menswear.

I also develop my own collections of Printed textiles and work on collaborations as a Print and Textiles consultant. Amongst some of the companies I work for and collaborate with include Marc Jacobs, Amanda Wakeley, Mary Katrantzou, Lane Crawford, Top Shop, Zara, H&M, Debenhams, M&S, Billabong…

As a tutor, I look forward to supporting students on their own creative approaches, encouraging them to expand their knowledge of textiles and helping them to develop an in-depth understanding of the processes and possibilities of textiles.
