To apply for the 'study related costs' element, you must not be eligible for other sources of financial support such as Student Finance loans or grants through Student Finance England, Wales, or Northern Ireland. If you wish to apply for a study-related costs bursary as outlined in section 7 of the policy - please outline below how much you are applying for (up to £200), what you are applying to cover, and what impact you hope this bursary will have.(Required)

DSA-awarded computer contribution (UG or PG degree students only)

As outlined in section 8 of the policy, if you have been awarded a computer by Student Finance via the DSA process and would like to apply for a bursary to cover the £200 contribution, please select this option. This would be paid directly to the supplier, so please include your DSA2 Award Letter with your application. You cannot apply for the computer reimbursement if you apply for this.

Computer reimbursement (UG or PG degree students only)

As outlined in section 8 of the policy, if you would like to apply for a reimbursement of up to £250 towards the cost of a new laptop / pc / tablet, please select this option. You must include a copy of your receipt (less than one month old at the point of application). You cannot apply for the DSA-awarded computer contribution if you apply for this.

Diagnostic assessment for dyslexia (UG or PG degree students only)

As outlined in section 8 of the policy, if your scores on the British Dyslexia AssociationAdult Checklist are 45 or above, and you would like to apply for help towards the costs of an assessment, please select this option. You are responsible for finding an appropriate provider, and payment would be made directly to the approved provider.
