BA (Hons) Photography
“Working for my photography degree has been one of my most life-changing experiences even into my 60s; my 70th birthday was three days before graduation. We are never too old to learn. I come from the grand tradition of landscape and wildlife photography and so working for a creative arts degree has been challenging to say the least.
However, I have always received amazing support, help and advice from tutors and fellow students through written feedback, video tutorials and video calls with fellow students. Study visits and weekends have been both a joy and help with studies and research, as well as an opportunity to meet with both tutors and students.
The last module I completed was Sustaining Your Practice and that, in particular, as well as the rest of the course has helped me to do just that. Since completing my studies I have worked with fellow artists, both photographers and those working in other media and have been fortunate to have my work feature in three recent exhibitions.”
Congratulations Mike Pickwell who recently graduated with a BA (Hons) in Photography!
